You are in: Home | End User | Asset DB Enterprise Suite | I get a message “Another instance of Asset DB is already running” - what is this?
Only one instance of Asset DB can be open at any one time so first check that you do not currently have an instance of Asset DB running.
If this is not the case and you are still getting the warning then Asset DB has been installed by user without admin rights, so will only run when that user is logged in.
Two possible solutions:
- Ask their IT department to give admin rights to the program and user files; or
- Un-install and reinstall with full admin rights.
